strain has been selected and bred for quickness, ability to take flight
quickly, and correctness of body size. Hens weigh about 2 ¼
pounds, cocks will weigh in at about 2 ¾ pounds!

This strain is a direct
descendant of the original birds that blanketed the mid-west, gracing
the farmlands with their beauty. A challenge to hunt, these birds
develop a sweet tasty muscle to be enjoyed at the dinner table! Highly
